Welcome to another edition of the Weekly Headings.  We hope that everyone is enjoying summer days, wherever you may be.   Even with periodic summer storms, the sunshine and warmth has felt wonderful in our area!

Attached you’ll find the latest edition of Larry Adam’s weekly newsletter, which you can read in full.  The highlight this week includes Larry and his team outlining why they believe, despite the strength of the economy, a mild recession is still possible.  The reasons they provide include:

• Consumer savings has dwindled from its peak
• There are continued signs of a cooling labor market
• Consumer spending on services has slowed from the surge post Covid
• Small business loan rates have continued to increase limiting appetite for business expansion
